Abstract

This paper provides an overview and the fundamental questions on the stage of Web 3.0. We analyze the characteristics of current bibliographic systems based on entity- relationship model.We defined the diferent levels on computer systems, (conceptual, logical and physical) and therefore we present the characteristics of FRBR relationships between work and document in the FRBR conceptual model. FRBRoo are described as an interpretation with object logic of the same functional requirements. Finally, future trends arise, such as moving from the entity relationship modeling to objects, the explicitness with consistent semantic annotation, mapping of existing bibliographic databases, the development of ontologies for integrate document systems into the Semantic Web
